Name That Country is an exciting geography game that takes you around the world. Learn about continents, countries and capitals as you spin your way around the globe. The game contains entertaining, informative postcards from countries around the world, as well as information on how to get a pen pal in another country.

The gameboard incorporates a spinner listing 60 Countries and their respective Continents. Players take it in turns to spin the spinner and then identify on the map the location of that country - this is done by calling out the appropriate number from a map and then cross-referencing it to a look-up table.
A correct answer earns a number of movement points which are used to move playing pieces around the board. Many of the spaces on the board show postage stamps from various countries - these have no effect on play. Other squares, however, contain special instructions (move forward 1 space, go back 3 spaces etc...) which must be followed.
Certain squares have a depiction of a postcard. If the piece lands on one of these spaces then a postcard is drawn from a deck and read aloud. The language and greeting, and the name of the sender, are clues to the identity of the country from which the card is sent. If the player correctly identifies the country then the playing piece is advanced a further two spaces.
The first player to complete one circuit of the board (35 spaces) is the winner.
